The Hours of the Holy Spirit

Typically these Hours are prefaced by a depiction of Pentecost, as we see here in the Frick Hours. In a rather elegant room Mary is kneeling at a desk, and with the apostles, is touched by a golden ray emanating from the Holy Spirit seen as a dove in the background.
